The issue closes with a compilation CD containing songs inspired by Slonimsky's hugely influential 1947 book Thesaurus of Scales and Melodic Patterns. Contributors to the CD include Andrew Bird, Lee Ranaldo, Elliott Sharp, Cat Martino, and Horse Feathers.
